Abstract: The session considers the current ‘climate’ for entrepreneurship in local, national and international contexts, and also the key policy debates at play regarding enterprise in the UK. It then focuses down on what it means to be a ‘spin out’, covering relationships with industry, and the research community/University, and business growth.
